CO2 Allowances can be purchased at any time. Some companies may decide to buy to ensure that CO2 Allowances are readily available if they fail to meet the next milestone target.

The Enviros CO2 Purchasing Service has been designed for CCA companies that require amounts in the order of tens and hundreds of tonnes of CO2. The service will minimise the transaction costs and complexity. It will also provide practical support about setting up Accounts on the Emissions Trading Registry.

How the Service Works
To make a trade with the Enviros CO2 Purchasing Service simply click here to send an email stating the amount of CO2 required and we will fax or email you a quote together with a simple 1 page Agreement describing the terms and conditions of the Service.

If you are happy with the quote, we will initiate the trade on receipt of your instructions and issue an invoice. On receipt of your payment we will transfer the CO2 Allowances into your nominated Trading or Compliance Account. If required we can help you set up these accounts.

Charges
The cost of CO2 will be based on the market price at the time of the quotation. In addition there will be a transaction administration fee of £250. You will also be charged VAT as appropriate.

How long will a trade take?
From receipt of the signed one page agreement, payment must be received within five working days. Once payment has been received, the allowances will be transferred to your ETR account within the next three working days.
