Welcome to the AIC Climate Change Levy
Discount Scheme

The AIC Climate Change Levy Discount Scheme is the Climate Change Levy Agreement for the animal feeds industry. Membership of the scheme will entitle you to receive an 80% discount on the Climate Change Levy on eligible energy use until April 2009. Thereafter, providing you meet milestone savings targets you can continue to receive this discount until April 2013, the end of the scheme life.

In the AIC CCLA there are over 200 individual sites that are currently benefiting from the Levy discount. The AIC CCLA is helping save nearly £5 million per year of levy.

We are still receiving new applications - it is not too late to apply. Anyone interested should contact the Help Line to obtain Applications Forms. Approval for the discount could be gained within 6 weeks of completing the application form.
